The Couple

Shannon & Nicole

What started as a spark quickly turned into late-night laughs, spontaneous adventures, and a love that balances strength with sass. Together, they’re proof that opposites not only attract — IYKYK (if you know, you know) they make the perfect team, and the best kind of love story.” There are plenty of bottles of champagne waiting to be popped – and joy to be shared. All we need are your lovely faces.”

Tay

My darling Taylah! I met Tay, back in 2021 when I thought this sweet tiny little girl would ease me into working out post third baby while having fun.. absolutely not, I met my match in every way, I said no, she said yes, every burpee, squat, workout, she found a way to turn my countless “no’s” and “I cants” into “I cans and fine I will”, from there this woman grew into my best friend my confident, the glue that literally held me together more times than I could count! She listens to my podcast of endless and pointless voice notes and I couldn’t be half the woman I am today without her!

Sammy

The strong, loyal, and endlessly devoted bestie. Honestly, without her, I’d be completely lost. Having a child with extra super powers isn’t something I ever planned for—it’s scary, overwhelming, and full of unknowns. But Sammy was there, holding my hand literally and doing my nails every step of the way with the most unwavering support.
She’s not just another mum who understands this journey—she’s my person. The one who gets it. The one who looks me in the eye and says, “Nicole, it’s hard as f***, but you’ll be okay.” The one I can call when my kid is doing the WILDEST things, and instead of judgement, she just laughs with me.
Sammy keeps me grounded, lifts me up when I need it most, and reminds me that I’m never alone in this. For that—and for her—I’ll be forever thankful

Anna

My Pandora’s box of adventures! Late nights, early mornings, tears, laughs, and the occasional snap-map rescue mission—she’s always been the one to turn “maybe we shouldn’t” into “I can’t believe we did this.” From random road trips to unforgettable nights, she’s the godmother to Arthur, my partner in chaos, and the girl I’ll never forget. Without her, life would be far too boring—and I thank God every day for the light and laughter she brings into my world.

Sam

My sister! My day one! My ride or die, younger on paper, but by all means older!! The one who made dam well sure I wasn’t growing up an only child, smarter, wiser, more mature your my go to for it all! You’re the best sister a girl could have! From childhood memories to grown-up adventures, she’s always been my biggest cheerleader, my voice of reason, and the one I can always count on. I couldn’t imagine this day, or my life, without her by my side. Thank you for being the best aunty to my children and a sister I couldn’t live without!

Groomsmen

Darren

I first met Darren Dingle backstage at ICN Nationals 2021, where he was coaching what felt like half the show. Even with a full lineup of athletes needing him, he still took the time to help me out. That moment turned into something massive — Darren became my coach, and together we went on to win the Bali International Open, take overalls in both Bodybuilding and Classic Physique, and eventually earn my Pro Card.

But beyond the trophies and the stages, Darren became so much more. He’s my coach, yes — but also a good friend, my best man, and a brother. A solid, loyal, genuine presence who’s been there through every high and every grind.

Cody

I’ve known Cody my entire life — not just as a mate, but as my real brother. From the earliest memories to everything we’ve lived through since, he’s been there. We grew up together, learnt the hard lessons together, and pushed through the chaos of life side by side. No matter what stage I was in or what direction I was heading, Cody was always a constant.

He’s been there through some of my hardest moments, the times where I needed someone who wouldn’t judge, wouldn’t flinch, and wouldn’t walk away. Cody has always shown up — loyal, steady, and protective in a way only a brother can be.

Ethan

I first met Ethan back in 2017 in the Hutt Valley Police, where he was assigned as my FTO. From day one he set the standard — calm under pressure, sharp, reliable, and somehow managing to teach me the ropes while also making sure I didn’t completely stuff anything up. What started as a professional partnership quickly turned into a solid friendship built on long shifts, tough calls, and a lot of laughs in between.

Over the last eight years, that friendship has only grown. Ethan became more than a mentor — he became a brother. And when we weren’t on the job, we were gaming, talking trash through headsets, and building the kind of bond you only get after thousands of hours and way too many late nights.

Cam

I met Cam in 2024, when I transferred to the Whakatāne Police. On day one, it was clear we were going to get along — the kind of instant connection where the banter flows, the work gets done, and you feel like you’ve known the guy for years. We clicked straight away, both on the job and off it, and it didn’t take long before he became one of the people I trusted most.

Since then, Cam has become more than just a workmate — he’s become a brother. Someone who’s solid, dependable, always good for a laugh, and always there when it counts.
